Chimney Finder

Import chimneys from OpenStreetMap

Pulls every mapped chimney in a country or state, groups chimneys that stand on the same site, and takes the operator, address, phone and website from the site's outline where mappers have added them. Sites you or a researcher have edited are never overwritten. Import large countries one state at a time.

Add operators and contacts from a file

Upload a CSV or Excel list of facilities with coordinates, for example the EEA Industrial Reporting database, the German PRTR (thru.de) or the Bundesnetzagentur power-plant list. Each row is matched to the nearest site in the country shown on the Sites tab. Empty fields are filled; researched sites are left alone.
